Hibu vs GablePath

Hibu is a bundled website-and-marketing platform sold through outside sales reps. This page sets the two offers next to each other using only what each company publishes — every Hibu cell links to their own page. Where they publish nothing, the cell says so instead of guessing.

What each company publishes.

A Hibu alternative is not automatically an upgrade.

There are businesses for which Hibu is the right answer and we are not. Here is where the line falls.

01

Stay with Hibu if

Stay with Hibu if the website is the smallest part of what you are buying. Their pitch is one company handling the site, the listings, the reviews and the paid advertising, with a rep you can call about all four at once. If you are running advertising through them and it is working, moving the website out of that bundle can break the reporting you rely on — and a website vendor who does not touch your ads cannot fix that for you.

Stay too if you genuinely want a person to drive to your shop. Hibu sells through outside reps who meet owners in person. Some owners buy that way and only that way, and there is nothing wrong with it. GablePath has no field sales force and never will.

02

Switch if

Switch if the website is the part you are actually unhappy with and you cannot find out what it costs. A quote that only exists after a demo makes it hard to know whether you are paying $99 or $900 for the page a customer actually lands on. GablePath publishes $149 and $299 a month on the pricing page, with no setup fee, and the whole agreement is on the site before you talk to anyone.

Switch if you want an exit written down in advance. Our agreement says you get a complete static export of your site when you leave and you can host it anywhere, and cancelling is an email — no notice period, no cancellation form. Before you decide anything, ask Hibu the same questions this table asks, in writing: what is the term, what happens to the site if I cancel, and how fast does a text change go live.

Nothing gets cancelled until the new site is standing.

A switch starts with an inventory of what you own and what you can export — domain, hosting, email, forms, analytics, listings, advertising accounts. Your Hibu site stays live the whole time. We build the replacement separately, test the forms and the redirects, and tell you in writing when it is safe to cancel. Never before.

The step-by-step version is on the switching page. The first step costs nothing: ask for your free homepage and look at it with your current site still running.

Moving from Hibu, answered.

01Is GablePath cheaper than Hibu?

We cannot answer that honestly, because Hibu does not publish a price. Ours is published: $149 a month, or $299 with the Google Business Profile work added, $0 down and no setup fee. Ask Hibu for their number in writing and put the two side by side.

02Will you move my site off Hibu for me?

Yes, carefully. We inventory what you own and can export, build the replacement separately, and your Hibu site stays live until the new one has passed every check. We tell you in writing when it is safe to cancel — and not before.

03Do I have to cancel Hibu before you start?

No, and please do not. The free homepage costs you nothing and creates no obligation, so there is no reason to disturb a live site to look at it.
