Kukui vs GablePath

Kukui is an all-in-one marketing platform for auto-repair shops. This page sets the two offers next to each other using only what each company publishes — every Kukui cell links to their own page. Where they publish nothing, the cell says so instead of guessing.

A Kukui alternative is not automatically an upgrade.

There are businesses for which Kukui is the right answer and we are not. Here is where the line falls.

01

Stay with Kukui if

Stay with Kukui if the platform is wired into your shop-management system. When the site, the customer database, the reminders and the point of sale all talk to each other, the integration is the product. Pulling the website out of that loop can cost you the follow-up marketing that pays for the whole thing.

Stay if you are in a NAPA or distributor program that subsidises or steers the relationship. Program pricing and co-op arrangements are real, and a lower sticker price elsewhere may not actually be lower once those are counted.

02

Switch if

Switch if you are a one- or two-bay independent paying platform money for a website you would rather just have. If you do not use the campaigns, the postcards and the rewards program, you are funding a suite to get a page. Ours is $149 a month with hosting, SSL, backups, monitoring, patching and unlimited small edits, or $299 with your Google Business Profile managed.

Switch if you want to see the price and the site before you sit through a demo. We publish both — the price on the pricing page, the site as your real homepage on a private link within two business days. And ask Kukui what happens to your pages if you leave; ours is written down: a complete static export you can host anywhere.

Nothing gets cancelled until the new site is standing.

A switch starts with an inventory of what you own and what you can export — domain, hosting, email, forms, analytics, listings, advertising accounts. Your Kukui site stays live the whole time. We build the replacement separately, test the forms and the redirects, and tell you in writing when it is safe to cancel. Never before.

The step-by-step version is on the switching page. The first step costs nothing: ask for your free homepage and look at it with your current site still running.

Moving from Kukui, answered.

01Do you integrate with my shop-management system?

No. We build and care for the website — hours, directions, services, real photos of your bays, a contact path that works on a phone. If a point-of-sale integration is doing real work for you, that is a good reason to stay where you are.

02What does Kukui cost?

They do not publish it, so we will not put a number in their column. Get the quote and set it next to our published $149 or $299 a month.

03Can you build an auto-shop site that ranks?

We build the things that make a shop findable and callable — accurate hours, service pages, town coverage, a fast mobile page and a managed Google Business Profile on the $299 path. We do not promise rankings, and nobody honest does.
