Change the assumptions to explore monthly economics. The default 3 percentage-point lift is an illustrative planning assumption, not a measured result or a promise.

Your assumptions

The starting numbers are placeholders, not benchmarks or results. Replace every one with your own before reading the output. Use the same cohort and closing window throughout: enter unsold replacement estimates eligible for follow-up, and their eventual close rate under your usual process.

Eligible unsold opportunities entering follow-up; count one per household.Eventual sales ÷ eligible estimates, under your usual follow-up.Revenue less direct job costs, as a percentage of revenue.A 3-point lift takes a 20% close rate to 23%, not 20.6%.Ongoing plans: $1,000 for up to 50 new estimates/mo; $1,500 for up to 100.

Pilot example, using the placeholders: at a $12,000 ticket and 35% margin, one extra sold job is $4,200 of gross profit, so the $500 30-day pilot covers its fee with less than one extra job. Whether the pilot adds any is what the control group measures; it may add none.

Results are estimates until measured against the control group. Fractional jobs are expected averages, not bookable jobs. Gross profit is not net profit; this view excludes setup fees, overhead, taxes and other added costs. ROI here is a gross-profit-to-fee multiple, not a net ROI percentage.

This models follow-up across the entire entered cohort. In a 50/50 pilot, only half receives our added follow-up, so the modeled incremental jobs, revenue and gross profit would be halved at the same lift. The pilot is $500 for 30 days, with setup waived; ongoing service has a $500 setup fee.

A 30-day pilot may be too small or too short to show reliable lift. Compare groups using equal observation windows and report uncertainty.

How the math works

Extra jobs = estimates × lift ÷ 100. Extra revenue = extra jobs × average ticket. Extra gross profit = extra revenue × gross margin ÷ 100.

ROI multiple = extra gross profit ÷ monthly fee. Break-even lift (points) = 100 × fee ÷ (estimates × average ticket × gross margin ÷ 100). Break-even covers only the entered fee.
